Create a Project
Learn the different ways to start a new project in INSTROC.
From the Dashboard
- Navigate to your dashboard
- Click the New Project button
- Choose your starting point
Starting Options
Blank Canvas
Start with an empty project and build from scratch. Best for:
- Experienced users who know exactly what they want
- Highly custom designs
- Learning how INSTROC works
From Template
Choose from our library of professionally designed templates:
- Landing Pages - Marketing sites, product launches
- Portfolios - Personal and agency portfolios
- Dashboards - Admin panels, analytics views
- E-commerce - Product catalogs, storefronts
- Blogs - Content sites with CMS
Templates are fully customizable after creation.
AI Description
Describe what you want to build and let AI generate it:
- Enter your description in the text area
- Click Generate
- Wait for AI to create your initial app (usually 10-30 seconds)
- Continue refining with conversation or visual editing
Project Settings
After creating a project, configure its settings:
Basic Information
- Project Name - Displayed in your dashboard
- Description - Notes about the project (optional)
Technical Settings
- Framework - React (default) or Vue
- Styling - Tailwind CSS (default) or custom CSS
Deployment
- Subdomain - yourproject.instroc.app
- Custom Domain - Connect your own domain
Project Limits
Depending on your plan:

Organizing Projects
Folders
Create folders to organize related projects:
- Click the folder icon in the dashboard
- Name your folder
- Drag projects into the folder
Search
Use the search bar to quickly find projects by name.
Filters
Filter projects by:
- Recently edited
- Published status
- Template type
Duplicating Projects
To create a copy of an existing project:
- Find the project in your dashboard
- Click the three-dot menu
- Select Duplicate
- A new project is created with "(Copy)" appended to the name
Deleting Projects
caution
Deleting a project cannot be undone. Make sure to export your code first if needed.
- Find the project in your dashboard
- Click the three-dot menu
- Select Delete
- Confirm deletion in the dialog
