Create a Project

Learn the different ways to start a new project in INSTROC.

From the Dashboard​

  1. Navigate to your dashboard
  2. Click the New Project button
  3. Choose your starting point

Starting Options​

Blank Canvas​

Start with an empty project and build from scratch. Best for:

  • Experienced users who know exactly what they want
  • Highly custom designs
  • Learning how INSTROC works

From Template​

Choose from our library of professionally designed templates:

  • Landing Pages - Marketing sites, product launches
  • Portfolios - Personal and agency portfolios
  • Dashboards - Admin panels, analytics views
  • E-commerce - Product catalogs, storefronts
  • Blogs - Content sites with CMS

Templates are fully customizable after creation.

AI Description​

Describe what you want to build and let AI generate it:

  1. Enter your description in the text area
  2. Click Generate
  3. Wait for AI to create your initial app (usually 10-30 seconds)
  4. Continue refining with conversation or visual editing

Project Settings​

After creating a project, configure its settings:

Basic Information​

  • Project Name - Displayed in your dashboard
  • Description - Notes about the project (optional)

Technical Settings​

  • Framework - React (default) or Vue
  • Styling - Tailwind CSS (default) or custom CSS

Deployment​

  • Subdomain - yourproject.instroc.app
  • Custom Domain - Connect your own domain

Organizing Projects​

Folders​

Create folders to organize related projects:

  1. Click the folder icon in the dashboard
  2. Name your folder
  3. Drag projects into the folder

Use the search bar to quickly find projects by name.

Filters​

Filter projects by:

  • Recently edited
  • Published status
  • Template type

Duplicating Projects​

To create a copy of an existing project:

  1. Find the project in your dashboard
  2. Click the three-dot menu
  3. Select Duplicate
  4. A new project is created with "(Copy)" appended to the name

Deleting Projects​

caution

Deleting a project cannot be undone. Make sure to export your code first if needed.

  1. Find the project in your dashboard
  2. Click the three-dot menu
  3. Select Delete
  4. Confirm deletion in the dialog
