Control your INSTROC subscription, billing, and invoices.
Accessing Billing
- Click your avatar in the top right
- Select Account Settings
- Click Billing
View Current Plan
See your active subscription:
- Plan name (Free, Pro, Team)
- Billing cycle (monthly/annual)
- Next billing date
- Current usage
Upgrade Your Plan
Free → Pro
- Go to Billing
- Click Upgrade to Pro
- Choose billing cycle (monthly or annual)
- Enter payment information
- Click Subscribe
You'll have immediate access to Pro features.
Pro → Team
- Go to Billing
- Click Upgrade to Team
- Confirm the plan change
- Prorated charge applied

Annual plans save approximately 17%.
Downgrade Your Plan
Pro → Free
- Go to Billing
- Click Change Plan
- Select Free
- Confirm downgrade
What happens:
- Access continues until current period ends
- Then reverts to Free limits
- Projects over limit become read-only
- Custom domains stop working
Team → Pro
- Go to Billing
- Click Change Plan
- Select Pro
- Confirm downgrade
What happens:
- Takes effect next billing cycle
- Team members lose access
- Storage/database reduced
Cancel Subscription
How to Cancel
- Go to Billing
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Select reason (optional feedback)
- Confirm cancellation
What Happens After Cancellation
- Access continues until billing period ends
- Then reverts to Free plan
- Projects become read-only if over limits
- Data is retained for 90 days
- Can resubscribe anytime
Reactivate
Changed your mind?
- Go to Billing
- Click Reactivate Subscription
- Confirm payment
- Immediate access restored

Update Payment Method
- Go to Billing
- Click Payment Methods
- Click Add New or Edit
- Enter new card details
- Click Save
Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- You'll receive an email notification
- We'll retry in 3 days
- Then again in 7 days
- After 14 days, subscription pauses
To fix:
- Update payment method
- Click Retry Payment
Invoices
View Invoices
- Go to Billing
- Click Invoices
- See list of all invoices
Download Invoice
- Find the invoice
- Click Download PDF
Invoice Details
Each invoice includes:
- Invoice number
- Date
- Amount
- Payment method
- Plan details
Invoice Email
Invoices are automatically emailed to your account email after each payment.
Update Billing Email
- Go to Billing
- Click Billing Details
- Update email address
- Click Save
Billing Details
Update Information
For invoices, set your:
- Company name
- Billing address
- Tax ID / VAT number
- Go to Billing
- Click Billing Details
- Update information
- Click Save
Tax Information
If you need VAT invoices:
- Add your VAT number in Billing Details
- Future invoices will include it
Refunds
Refund Policy
- 14-day guarantee on initial purchase
- Full refund if not satisfied
- No refunds after 14 days
- No partial month refunds

- Email support@instroc.app
- Include your account email
- Brief reason (helps us improve)
Refunds process within 5-10 business days.

Can I switch from monthly to annual?
Yes!
- Go to Billing
- Click Switch to Annual
- Get prorated credit for current month
- Start annual billing
What if I upgrade mid-cycle?
Prorated charge for remaining days of current cycle.
What if I downgrade mid-cycle?
Access continues until cycle ends, then downgrades.
Can I pause instead of cancel?
Currently, we don't offer pause. You can cancel and resubscribe later.
Do you offer refunds for annual plans?
Within 14 days of purchase. After that, no refunds but you can downgrade for next year.
How do I get a receipt?
All invoices in Billing serve as receipts. Download PDF for records.
